If you’re unable to cook a meal or shop for ingredients because of your disability, you should be able to use your NDIS funding to pay for meals to be prepared and delivered to you.
Prime 1 Care can help assist with preparing and cooking meals, assist with special diet for health, religious, cultural or other reasons.
NDIS does look at your individual situation to decide whether it’s reasonable and necessary to provide this funding. We can also assist with using eating utensils and eating aids and assist with actual feeding, if necessary. We can also provide enteral feeding formula and equipment.
