Personal Activities (High Intensity)
Care recipients that require these supports have complex health needs that must be supported by support workers with specialized skills and experience, in order to ensure that the supports they receive are safe and of the highest quality. Our professional nurses have the relevant skills and knowledge to deliver supports for high intensity daily activities. Our support workers need to be qualified and have previous experience relevant to the participant’s complex needs. If any of our staff are not qualified they will not be performing any high intensity activities.
Some examples of high intensity support we offer:
- Complex bowel care.
- Enteral feeding and management.
- Subcutaneous injection.
Additional support activities:
- High risk of seizure.
- Pressure care and wound management.
- Mealtime preparation and delivery.
- Catheter Care.
