Allied health assistance refers to the support provided by trained professionals and allied health assistants who work alongside registered clinicians to deliver therapeutic services, carry out exercises and programs, and support participants in their daily routines. This includes roles fulfilled by individuals who have completed a Certificate III in allied health assistance or a Certificate IV in allied health assistance (Cert IV allied health assistance), the most widely recognised qualification for those pursuing an allied health assistant career.
Allied health assistants work under the supervision of qualified allied health professionals such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and psychologists. Their role is vital in bridging the gap between clinical appointments and everyday living, ensuring participants receive consistent and high-quality care.
Good nutrition is the foundation of physical and mental health. Our dietitians provide:
Our accredited exercise physiologists design evidence-based physical activity programs that support chronic disease management, disability, and mental health recovery. Programs are tailored to individual goals, abilities, and NDIS plans.
