Blacktown is NSW’s most populous local government area a sprawling community of over 400,000 residents covering dozens of distinct suburbs from the Hills District to Mount Druitt. Within this vast and diverse region, thousands of NDIS participants are looking for a provider who is accessible, genuinely local and responsive to the realities of life in Western Sydney.
Prime 1 Care is a registered NDIS provider serving participants across the Blacktown LGA and neighbouring suburbs. We work with participants in Blacktown, Mount Druitt, Seven Hills, Quakers Hill, Rooty Hill, Doonside, Bidwill, Marayong, Kings Langley, Stanhope Gardens, Schofields, Rouse Hill and surrounds. Whether you live in a newer estate near Rouse Hill Town Centre or an established suburb near Blacktown station, our team comes to you.
The Blacktown LGA presents unique challenges for NDIS participants. The region is large getting from one side of the LGA to the other can take over an hour on public transport. Some suburbs, particularly around Mount Druitt, have higher rates of complex disability, mental health comorbidities and socioeconomic disadvantage. Other areas like Schofields and Marsden Park are rapidly developing, with fewer established community services.
Prime 1 Care understands these dynamics because our staff work in them. Our support workers and coordinators are not commuting in from elsewhere they live and work in Western Sydney. That means:

Blacktown is one of Australia’s most multicultural LGAs. The area is home to large Filipino, Indian, Pacific Islander, Lebanese and African communities, among many others. For NDIS participants from CALD backgrounds, cultural safety is not optional it is essential to good support.
Prime 1 Care recruits support workers who reflect the communities we serve. We have team members with Filipino, Hindi, Punjabi, Arabic and Pacific Islander language skills. When a support worker and a participant share cultural understanding and language, the quality of care is measurably better. Trust builds faster, communication is clearer, and participants are more comfortable receiving personal care.
We also understand the role that faith and religious practice play for many Blacktown families. Support workers can accompany participants to mosque, church, temple or other faith-based activities, and we schedule rosters respectfully around religious observances.
We also have opportunities for disability support worker jobs in regional areas including disability support worker jobs Geelong, disability support worker jobs Newcastle, disability support worker jobs Gold Coast, and many more locations.
Yes. Our support workers regularly travel to the newer residential estates in North-West Blacktown, including Schofields, The Ponds, Marsden Park and Box Hill. These areas have fewer established community services than older suburbs which is exactly why reliable, mobile support matters so much there.
Yes. Prime 1 Care has experience supporting participants with mental health-related (psychosocial) disabilities under the NDIS. Our support workers are trained in trauma-informed care and work in close coordination with mental health treatment teams, Community Mental Health centres and private psychiatrists. Psychosocial disability is one of the most underserved areas in Western Sydney we take it seriously.
Yes, and this is more common than you might think. We work with families where more than one member has an NDIS plan. We can provide each participant with their own Service Agreement, coordinator and support workers while coordinating logistics across the family to minimise disruption. Speak to us about a family intake consultation.
We maintain active capacity for new Blacktown participants. For daily living supports, new starts typically take 5–10 business days after a signed Service Agreement. Support coordination and plan management can begin within 48 hours. If you are in urgent need for example, following a hospital discharge or a carer breakdown call 1300 683 803 immediately and we will escalate.
